Program Controls:

These provide interface to a Program or selection of Programs, with easy access to associated Step times, Setpoints as well as full program control and ability to move the program to any step in the sequence. There is a built-in access to program History.

 

Equipment Controls:

These provide status information and functions for modifying process set-points and overriding status. They are provided in a variety of graphics to suit different device types.

Digital:  Valves, Motors, Digital Input and Output Signals.

Analog:  Analog Inputs, Analog Outputs, PID Loops,

All relevant features of each of the above objects are available on the control, for example the PID loop may be tuned from the control. Items have built-in Real-Time and Historical Trending facilities and History access.

Object Display and Faceplates:

Device: Display of a digital type (Valve, Motor, Digital Signal Condition State) with call of appropriate faceplate

Digital: Provides screen device animation, priority based on selectable devices

Program: Faceplate for a Program, with Options for display of Commands, Step Name, Step Nr, Status, Recipe, Plan, Time Elapsed, Time Remaining,

Step List: Shows a Step List for a Program, with Current Step highlighted

Text Display: Shows Current Step in a Program or a Text dependent on a PLC Value

Toggle: Allows change of a Digital State, or a HMI Decision

Trend:  Provides fully configurable Real Time and Historical Trends

Value:  Shows current value, with call of Faceplate depending on type of selected Device

Smart Label:  Shows various properties; Current User logged-in, Connection State, Clock, Computer Name, etc.,

For Device controls the device is selected from all appropriate devices in the Project in Accord Server. The selection of the required device is carried out using a Project Explorer.

If a Project is tested using the Emulator and then re-imported using the same Model name to a PLC then all HMI Controls will automatically use the PLC data per OPC Profile.

 

Graphic Types – for Digital and Device and Simple Graphic Controls:

There are various Graphics available for Object Display Type controls. These include:

Analog Gauge:   Graduated and Plain types

Analog Level: Graduated and Plain types

Arrow: Plain, Curved, Spear, Spike, Spurred, Wide, Pointer

Container: Cylinder, Hopper, Tank, Vessel, – Graduated and Plain types

Conveyors: Belt, Belt with Fan, Belt Impeller, Belt Saw, Conveyor 2 Motors, Conveyor 4 Motors, Rollers, Rolling Belt, Rolling Conveyors, Digitals Circle, Ellipse, Frame, Hexagon, Probe, Rectangle, Square, Triangle

Exchange:  Heat Exchanger – Container, Simple, Vessel,

Line: Line, Interchange, Joint, Junction, – Sectional and Plain types

Motor: Agitator, Blower, Cam, Capped Blower, Fan, Fan Encased, Impellers, Motor Encased, Pump, Pump Encased, Saw, Vacuum Pump,

Pipe:  Pipe, Interchange, Joint, Junction, – Sectional and Plain

Valve:  Actuated, Directional, Four Way, Relief, – Globe, Square, Solid types

 

List Controls:

Current Alarms:  With Options for Device Type, Parent Device, Parent Devices

Programs:  With Options for Selection of Programs to be shown,

Status:  With Options for Maintenance, Manual, Masked, Override

Devices: With Options for Device Type, Parent Device, Parent Devices

List controls are configurable for Project, Group, and Device. These filters allow full configuration of selections across all item types and items.

 

Form Controls:

Button:  Provides simple navigation to other screens

Test Box: Provides Text to be placed on screen, with full font configuration

 

Containers:

Round Panel:  Basic Panel for containing other items

Tab Control:  Panel with Tab Fields

Flow Panel:  Arranged Layouts with defined ratios for rows and columns

Buffered Panel:  Arranged Layouts with defined ratios for rows and columns

Form Controls and Containers are configurable for Colours, Shading and Border styles,

HMI Controls are configurable for Primary and Secondary colours, and for Behaviour.

External Tags may also be selected from within Project Explorer also.

 

General Controls:

Alarm:  Equipment and Program Alarms configured in Accord Builder Model are monitored for display as Current or Historical Alarms by this control. Alarms may be reset or acknowledged individually or as a group. The Historical Alarm control has date & time filtering and print functionality. The text for each Alarm is configured in Builder and same text is then printed in Documents.

Value:  Current value of Setpoint, Variable or Analog Device, Faceplate depending on type of selected Device

Trend:  Full featured, Real-Time and Historic Trends, as standalone controls and built-in to Analog or Value controls.

Line:  Line Colour changes depending on Device State

Decision:  Boolean selection or Command to a Program.

Step List:  Step List for a Program, with Current Step highlighted

Items Manual:   List of all equipment items which are in Manual, with reset facility.

Items Override:   List of equipment items currently in Input Override

Items Masked:   List of equipment items currently in Masked or Error Override.

Smart Label:  Various properties; Current User logged-in, Connection State, Clock, Computer Name, etc.,

Replay:  Allows selection of Replay mode and Replay Time

Alarm Reset:  To reset all Alarms on Target PLC

Diagnostics:  Provides Diagnostics to allow checking of Process Conditions in PLC

History:  Provides a filterable report generator, may be used for Historical Alarms

Security:  Allows for Log-In as User, as set up in Accord Server Users.

Simple Graphic:  Various Graphics, without animation, for Information and Navigation.
